His eye is on the sparrow

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Refrain:
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

I Thank You Lord (My Testimony)

I once was lost in sin and shame,
Felt that life was nothing but a game,
Lived each day as though the same,
Like many others, blind and lame.
My life was always dull and plain,
There was much of sorrow, grief and pain,
There were times when I felt so faint
Ending my life would've been such a gain.

Chorus:
And I thank you Lord,
For calling my name.
And I thank you Lord,
For cleansing my stain.
With your blood set me free,
Made me able to see,
And I thank you Lord,
And I thank you Lord.

With Jesus, Life is not the same,
Many habits did I have to change,
Living life with meaning each day,
Without complain of burden or pain.
With Christ, I am now born again,
My sins have all been washed away,
My past I put aside,
And now I live with Christ by my side.

My life I give to you, O Lord,
I pray, you'll lead me with your word,
Give me strength with each new day,
Whether at school at work or at play.
I want to do your will, O Lord,
Grant me love, wisdom and faithfulness,
Use my mouth to praise your name,
Sharing your Word, both night and day.

My friend, I pray for you each day,
That someday, God may show you the way,
Open your eyes that you may realize,
How precious you are in God's eyes.
Dear friend, perhaps you might not know,
That Jesus really loves you so,
Maybe when you receive him too,
Your heart may echo this same tune:

To everything there is a season

To everything there is a season,
To everything there is a time,
To every purpose under heaven,
There is a season; There is a time.

A time to live, a time to die;
A time to plant, a time for harvest;
To kill and heal; To wreck and build;
There is a season; There is a time.

A time to cry, a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, a time to dance;
A time to cast away, to bring together;
To be embraced, and to refrain.

A time to find and lose; To keep and give
To tear apart, to mend together;
To keep silent, and to speak;
To love and hate; For war and peace.

To everything there is a season,
To everything there is a time,
To every purpose under heaven,
There is a season; There is a time.

Let Him Lead

God gave unto us a great gift of love and peace
By sending Lord Jesus Christ as atonement for our sin.
Jesus gave his life an example for his sheep
And we should walk in the path that our blessed saviour leads.
Forsake our worldly comfort, give our lives to him;
We should love him more each day.
With all our given talents glorify him,
In word and in deed everyday.

We cannot please the Lord if we stubbornly resist
To follow all his commandments and live our lives like His.
We can trust in Him and in faith we let him lead,
Our every choice and decision in prayer to him leave.
Not by our will or feeling but the Spirit’s leading;
We’ll let our Lord take control.
He is the only way, the truth and the Light,
We pray thee, O Lord be our Guide.

Let's Praise the Lord

Our Heavenly Father sent his Son to live in human form;
He gave His life that man may live with him forevermore.
He bled and died upon the cross, bearing the sins of all
And by his wondrous grace we’re saved, the first time we were called.

Lets praise the Lord and thank the Lord
And lift his holy name.
Lets worship him, bring gifts to Him,
Obey his every Word and let us
Bow before the throne of God
And give our lives to him,
That we may live a life that’s free from sin.

No Greater Love

No other man, loved us more than Him,
who gave His life on Calvary’s tree
Lord Jesus Christ, marvellous is He;
He died to take away my sin.
Upon the cross as He bled for me, He promised us salvation free
And through His Word I know He will be coming back for me.

No greater love, I’ll ever see
Than what my Saviour has done for me
No greater gift, I would receive
Than Jesus Christ who loves me
What wondrous grace he showed to me

Lord, You are everything to me

Before you I stand,
So undeserving of your grace.
I was but a leper, so unclean.
You took me in; Washed me and cleansed me deep within.
Gave me a new heart, and purged me of my sinfulness for free.
You planted hope within my heart
And you taught me how to live.
With your precious word you comfort me,
Provide me with relief.
You guide my footsteps through the way,
Though every time I stray.
You graciously forgive me even when I disobey.
My wonderful companion
You can never be replaced
By worldly goods or gifts of man
Which are not worth a cent.
I shall not strive for riches
Nor for fame or earthly gain,
But give my life and all I have for Jesus name.
For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.
You are my Rock,
You are my God,
Lord, you are everything to me.
Now I’m secure,
And I am cured, washed in the blood of the Lamb.
Nothing of this world, can pluck me out from thy almighty
hand.

So great is your love;
So immeasurable your grace.
Never can a man, like me, define.
You gave us your son, shedding his blood for all
mankind.
With your grace divine, I walk the way that Christ, for me,
designed.
My worldly plans I cast aside and with humbleness I cry,
Unto my great God, Jehovah :”Let me, in your love abide.
And as a child of God, may I, like Jesus ever shine.
For thee, in every corner of this sinful world, shed light.”
I have a loving savior, who gave everything to me.
Thinking: What can I give in return, to Him who died for me.
For at each little moment, I recall all that was done.
He hurt, He suffered, bled and died for everyone.
For all believers, He made us His sons.
My Lord I will love,
My one only dove.
Nothing shall ever take your place.
In Thee I’ll abide,
Through storms, wind and tide,
Standing unwavering in faith.
For You I will be, your tool, your servant.“Take me, here am I”
